Our Company

 

Past Impressions has provided genealogy services since March 2001. The company was founded by Bob & Tamera Rhodes, and remains a family operated business to this day. In 2009, Past Impressions extended its services by offering photography and videography, as well. Today, our company has researched many family lineages from across the nation and world. The company originated in Terre Haute, Indiana and has expanded by serving other areas including the business' relocation to Indianapolis, Indiana in July of 2019. 

 

 

Meet our staff

 

Bob Rhodes, CEO, Senior Professional Genealogist & Professional Photographer

 

Bob has researched genealogy for 18 years. He discovered his genealogy passion from Wilma Lucas, his wife Tamera’s aunt. He firmly believes if one works a job they love, they will never work a day in their life. Bob’s hometown is Indianapolis, Indiana. Bob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Fine Arts with an Art History Minor in May 2015 at Indiana State University located in Terre Haute, Indiana. He and his wife Tamera have been married for 24 years and have three children who share their interest in genealogy and practice the importance of family, as well.

 

Tamera Rhodes, Administrative Assistant to the CEO & Professional Writer and Communications Specialist

 

Tamera oversees media, marketing, and public relations at Past Impressions. She has gained expertise in verbal and written communication and has taken obtained a higher education with many classes for writing, journalism, and marketing at Indiana State University. She is a Terre Haute native and works alongside Bob in their family business and is known as a professional writer that she has worked as a freelancer and independent contractor. She was recently featured in Woman's World Magazine (2019) recognizing her skills and successful professional endeavors.
